Hon. Michael Henry Minister of Transport and Works Michael Henry was born in Spanish Town St. Catherine and is the son of the late Lester Osmond Henry and Lucille Leon Henry. He is an Author/ Publisher by profession and is Chairman of Kingston Publishers Ltd. Education: St. Catherine Elementary School, Beckford & Smith and Ealing Technical College (U.K.) He is married with four children Civic Career: Kiwanis Club, Jamaica Library Service Board, Board of the Institute of Jamaica, Kingston Cricket Club and the Jamaica Motoring Club. Political Career: 1976 JLP candidate Central Clarendon 1980 – present M.P., Central Clarendon He also served as a Minister of State for Information, Minister of Tourism and Agriculture.
