Hon. Delroy Chuck
Speaker of the House


Born December 2, 1950, in Christiana, Delroy is a true son of the Jamaican soil. He attended Ritchies Primary School, Kingston College and the Norman Manley Law School.

He even went further a field to study at St. Catherine's College, Oxford England. He has been a member of Parliament since 1997 an he has been practicing law in Jamaica since 1982.

Delroy has published a number of books and papers including "Should We Hang" and "Understanding Crime". He is also responsible for preparing reports for the Government such as "Committee on Capital Punishment" and "Sample of Gun Crime Cases in Jamaica".

During his time as Member of Parliament for St. Andrew North East he has been able to accomplish a number of things for the constituency including the new police station in Grant's Pen and the Megamart on Upper Waterloo Road.
