The Miss Jamaica World Pageant isJamaica’s most prestigious and longest running national beauty pageant with roots going as far back as 1976. Over the years, the queens have embodied Beauty With a Purpose and have representedJamaicawell at the Miss World Competition. In 1963 Carol Crawford won the Miss World title. In 1976 Spartan Health Club acquired the national franchise and in that year Cindy Breakspeare became Miss World. Lisa Hanna took that title in 1993.
