Falmouth Tax Office moves to new location in the New Year
The start of the new business year, Tuesday, January 3, 2012 will see the Falmouth Tax Office operating from a new location at the Port Authority Building, 2 – 4 Tharpe Street in Falmouth, Trelawny, commonly known as the Old Wharf Building, opposite Juici Patties.
The move to the new location became necessary due to the continuing growth and expansion of Falmouth and surrounding communities, resulting in the previous facilities at 2 Seaboard Street becoming inadequate. The relocated Falmouth Tax Office will offer convenient parking, a spacious banking hall, seated customer service area and other amenities, benefiting both customers and staff.
The office will continue to offer the same services to the taxpaying public, who will be able to transact business from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm Mondays to Wednesdays and from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm on Thursdays and Fridays. The public is advised that the telephone numbers remain the same at 954-4218 or 617-5873 and the fax number is 617-5210.
