The JCDC is quite heartened by the tremendous display of nationalism by all Jamaicans and takes this opportunity to thank you for your continued support.
We are aware of the inconveniences that may have been caused at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre this morning and apologize profusely to those of you who turned up and did not receive tickets.
Unfortunately, the tickets assigned to this outlet were quickly consumed and so there were no tickets left for distribution. Again, we apologize unreservedly for the situation and would like to encourage all Jamaicans to enjoy the festivities planned for the celebratory period.
We would like to encourage the public to visit the Jamaica Jubilee Village from August 1 – 6 and be a part of the Jamaica 50 celebrations. Please note also that in anticipation of the current situation, we created Jamaica 50 viewing venues for you to watch and enjoy the Gala and other Jamaica 50 events on August 5 and 6.
