Independence Parade to Precede Grand Gala

The public is being advised that the Independence Day Ceremonial Parade of the Jamaica Defence Force and other uniformed groups that is usually held at King’s House, will take place at the National Stadium, starting at 6:00 p.m. to start the Grand Gala.

The Independence Day Parade will be broadcast live on local television, streamed on the Internet, and will also be displayed on large screens at selected town squares and public parks around the island.
