Mello-Go-Roun'

This is one of the most thrilling and eventful family events on the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission’s calendar and marks the climax of the Festival of the Performing Arts. It features the most outstanding performances in Speech, Dance, Traditional Folk Forms and Music.

Mello-Go-Roun’ was born in 1964. At that time the top performers from the Performing Arts Competition who entertained delegates attending a Commonwealth Prime Minister’s meeting were so impressive, that the decision was made to make it an annual event.

The event will be held on August 4, National Arena, 8:00 p.m.
