World Reggae Dance Championship

The Competition exposes and celebrates the ingenuity of movements by dancers in Dancehall and Roots Reggae. The Competition is open to all persons residing in and outside of Jamaica. Only individuals 16 years of age and over are allowed to enter the Competition. Seventeen (17) groups participated in the inauguration of the Competition in 2006, and since then it has grown tremendously.

This year’s Competition will include two Japanese groups who will add a lot of competition and excitement to the Contest.

This event will be held on the lawns of the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre, on August 2, 8:00 p.m.
